91-Thursday Tree Love

“The best way to find yourself is to loose yourself in the service of others” M Gandhi

This is a church I visited on my daughter’s birthday, attended mass and after prayers came out to see this beautiful tree, and found how well they are standing with each other. Giving support and complementing one another. The tree is giving a message to us as to how we need to offer support to those around us.

Now with heavy rains and water flooding so many parts of our city, it’s a pathetic sight to see families loosing out every thing, waters have flooded the slums, apartments, cars floating, and so many have been washed away in the drain.

Some of the organisations have come forward to reach out for the flood relief; I am also involved in a small way trying to do my bit. Like the trees we must reach out and help; prayers for my beautiful city Hyderabad. Glad to see so many organisations have come forward to collect materials in kind and cash to rescue and rehabilitate.

Thursday Tree love  is a photo feature on Parul’s blog hosted on second and fourth Thursday of every month.   You are most welcome to join in, all you need to do is:

Post a picture of a tree on your blog

  1. It was distressing to read about the hardship faced by people in Hyderabad. I hope everything is getting back to normal. Take care

    1. It will take some time for everything to get back to normal. There are so many who are volunteering and collecting things like dry provisions, utensils and clothes and hopefully things will get better. Thanks for your concern, appreciate you.

    1. Yes Parul it was sad to watch the down pour and see human life cattle and homes getting washed away, and we were feeling so helpless to reach out, the impact is still there and with good people around things are getting better. Glad you found the quote profound, yes Now I am addicted to TTL :) will definitely connect. Thanks
