“You are never too old to reinvent yourself”

My apologies for delayed posting Parul:) we had a wedding in the family, followed by a training program at work.. so I am posting today.
I spotted this tree at Law College, Osmania University, Hyderabad. I went to meet one of the professor and while I waited for her. I went around this place and clicked a few trees, this is one of them. Next few minutes I just watched this tree and the more I observed the details of this tree – I felt it was very grounded and standing tall with pride – adjacent is the letter box.

Which
means there are still students and others who are writing and using the post
box. Felt good with emails, whatsapp and
other modes of communication – there are still people who take time to write
and express themselves and use the post box to send letters. Brought me
memories of all the letters I used to write to my friends and cousins… now its
only whatsapp and face book and instagram.
Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on Parul’s blog
hosted on second and fourth Thursday of every month. You are most welcome to join in, all you need
to do is:
Post a picture of a tree on your blog

DeleteLovely tree. I just found your comment in my spam so I rescued it, thank you.
ReplyDeleteOkay thanks for rescuing my comment:) appreciate your presence here.
DeleteWhat a big tree and you are right that next to that letter box, it looks even better. I think a lot of people use these boxes. My Mum for example sends me a letter every year on my birthday.
ReplyDeleteLast August when I went to Himachal, I also went to see the highest post office. Thanks for joining, Angela. Always a pleasure to see you!
Hi Parul:) Happy New Year 2020 to you and your family. Yes that's a huge tree, couldn't really capture the whole tree. So sweet of your mum to write a letter every year.. I did write some letters to my daughter on her birthdays a couple of times when she was small... I must do it again. Thanks for inspiring and yes its wonderful to connect with you.
