This year my focus for the April Challenge is
on the Nature and I am posting pictures of nature and writing thoughts that
inspire me.
“Nature does not hurry, yet everything
gets accomplished” Lao Tzu
To
take a walk in nature is to witness
a thousand miracles says a popular quote; it is so very true. The Environmental
psychology says that spending time in nature
and viewing the beauty around can not only brings calmness, but also reduce
stress, improves our moods and cognitive performance.
Taking
regular breaks from our routine and finding time to walk around in nature makes one feel better
emotionally and contributes to physical well being, bringing down the blood
pressure, heart rate, muscle tension and the production of stress hormones.
Science has proven and has found evidence of the impact on our brains and our behavior,
increasing our attention capacity, creativity and our ability to connect with
people.
I
am blessed and feel so privileged for the breaks I take consciously. At other
times I look for opportunities and make time to go with wherever life takes me J. The above picture is a
beautiful resort called Palm Exotica a little away from Hyderabad city – I went
for a day outing with college alumini group.
Thanks
for reading my post, would love to hear your thoughts J.
Be
Blessed & Be Happy !
