This year
my focus for the April Challenge 2019 is on Nature. I am posting pictures of
nature and writing thoughts that inspire me.
“We
all have a responsibility to protect the endangered species, both for their
sake and for the sake of our own future generations.” Loretta Lynch
While thinking about
the last alphabet I was wondering what word to use – some things that came up
was Zoom, Zen, Zeal, Zealous and Zoo. The word fitting I felt was Zoo as this
can be related to nature. Recall and
remember all the times I have visited zoo in Hyderabad – in fact I have grown
up here visiting numerous times –especially during my school days, this was the
favorite spot for the school children.
As students we enjoyed
going around this place which used to be full of trees and so many animals
sheltered, recently a couple of years back I visited and I could hardly find
any animals. This is a sorry state of affairs, we have not been able to
maintain and protect our animals, even domestic animals are missing in the city now, except for few dogs and cats
– we don’t get to see donkeys, sheep’s and birds like hens, cocks, ducklings
have become rare.
I think the next generation will not even know about these
animals and birds. It’s high time we get alert and start taking care of our
earth and its endangered species.
For those who have been
part of the A-Z April 2019 Challenge, hope you had a great time blogging nonstop
for a month. I am already feeling like a winner, and it’s a great feeling.
Thanks for reading my post,
appreciate you for the time taken. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Be Blessed & Be

Congratulations on finishing the A-Z Genevive! I so enjoyed your posts using Nature as your theme. Sad to hear that zoos have less animals and that even on the streets there appear to be less than usual ..
ReplyDeleteThanks Susan, and wishing you the same... hopefully I am sure you too would have completed the challenge, last two days i am unable to access your blog, i will try again tomorrow. I am able to read your post, but unable to comment. Yes its a sad state of affairs in the zoo.
DeleteCongratulations on completing this Challenge.
ReplyDeleteYou have raised a very important topic about conservation through this post. We humans behave as if the world only belongs to us and not these animals who can not speak our language!
Thank you I am glad I could complete the challenge:) true in the name of technology and progress we have done more harm to our planet...
