Thursday Tree Love 18

“I can be changed by what happens to me.
But I refuse to be reduced by it.” Maya Angelo

You may encounter many defeats; but you must not be defeated.
In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from,
How you can still come out of it” -Maya Angelo

  1. What has that tree been through? What stories could it tell (if it was alive -which I fear it is not).

    1. I wonder too and the story may be inline with all those who feel stripped, humiliated, depressed and alone. I am sure this is a phase and gradually the leaves will appear.. the tree is standing strong and has not allowed the adversities to break it... thanks for being here, appreciate you.

  2. I so enjoy these posts Genevive thank you! This tree looks pretty stripped but I think it's just bare of leaves right now. And will come to fullness as the seasons change-
