V for Velankanni, this is a shrine built in the honour of Mother Mary. There is a history behind this church,  people from all parts of the country go to pay homage, make vows, and also come for holidays.  you can read more at http://www.velankannichurch.com

Last December 2012, we as a family went for a holiday to this place. We were happy to be together, and go around this place.  The special attraction of this place is the beautiful beach, where we spent time every evening. Simple things in life brings so much joy !  some very special memories  in my life.

Be Happy !

    1. Thanks Jatin, I am glad you liked the place, I normally would prefer a quiet place to pray, this is a pilgrim centre and a lot of crowd comes in right through the year, but we can still go for fun and take break, for me the beach is the special attraction...

    1. A lot of people go to this place, its a shrine, a devotees of mother Mary flock to this place. Its difficult to pray in a crowd, I always preferred a quiet place for prayer, but I respect those who can pray, and my husband is a devotee of mother mary, and he planned this outing for us after a very long time- we were happy to be together.
