W - WATCH

W for wrist watch, the first wrist watch in my life was given by a parent, as a gift to me with gratitude, as their kids passed in the exams.

 I was giving home tutions for 3 children in the same house.  I was so happy that I wore it for a very long time, and one fine day it fell from my hand, while I was climbing a bus.

I bought a second watch as a present to myself, with a black dial and wore it with pride for many years, till that stopped working, when I went for repair.

The charges were so high, I thought instead of spending so much money for the old watch, better to buy a new one.  But then, I did not have a budget for that particular month.

So while I was thinking of a new watch for my wrist, I got a call from my brother, asking me to join him for lunch, and in the conversation, I casually mentioned about my desire to get a new watch! Guess what? in a matter of few hours, my brother took me to a show room and got me a beautiful watch !

It was such a sweet surprise, that I can never forget that day, the place where I had lunch and popular showroom that displayed a variety of watches. This gesture from my brother brought me immense joy.

I thanked my brother and took the maroon strapped watch. Watch is definitely a very useful and a meaningful gift; it reminds us to value 

Time. It tells us that time does not wait for anyone. Time is the most important aspect of our life, if we know how make use of the time, we shall win every battle of our lives. 

Every time I look at my watch, I feel happy and grateful for the watch, I still cherish the watch, and I still wear it every day to my office.
