“It’s
not what happens to you; but how you react to it that matters” Epictetus, Greek
Philosopher
This
picture was taken in one my trips to Bangalore, stayed at Infant Jesus Church
and this tree is just adjacent to the Parish House. I was impressed by this
tree for the way it has made way to reach high and also felt happy that while
they constructed the building they did not destroy this tress. I can see the resilience
of this tree that despite the small space it made its way through to reach
above, looks like it wanted to touch the sky.
Let
nothing, and no one stop us from reaching our destiny, there will be challenges
and we will also encounter people who may not support us. When we continue to
believe in ourselves and keep going even in our tough times, we are bound to
reach our destiny.

DeleteI grew up in New York City and saw a lot of urban trees in what seemed to be impossible situations. Trees are so resilient and I am happy that tree was given a chance to live. We can learn so much from them. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAgree with you Alana, trees are resilient and there is so much to learn from them, I have always admired trees. Thanks for your comment.
DeleteThat's a great quote. I truly believe in that.
ReplyDeleteNowadays there is a lot of awareness regarding the need to protect greenery. So, when there is some construction, all efforts are made to retain the trees. If that is not possible, then the tree is transplanted somewhere else.
