“You will find something more
in woods than in books. Trees and stone will teach you that which you can never
learn from the masters” St Bernard
This picture is taken
from village by name Mawlynnong, which approximately 90 kms from Shillong,
and closer to the Bangladesh. We can walk around this place and it’s a treat
for the eye to capture the greenery around; the place is very clean and well
maintained.
The
pineapple here is sweet, they are cut and sold in a small plate at a very low
price.. ... I enjoyed eating the pineapples and moved around this place
admiring the beauty free of dust and noise pollution. I tasted the food here
and was glad to for the nutritious lunch served at a nominal price.
“Time spent among trees is never wasted”
The best
thing about travel is, one can relive the happy moments that are now memories
as many times as one wants J that’s what
I did today – looking at this awesome trees once more I was transported for a
brief while to this village and smiling away I wrote a few lines to post.
I have
made a separate post on this visit and you may be interested in reading, here’s
