“Your presence is the most precious gift you
can give to another human being.” Marshall B Rosenberg.
My road trip -Ooty to Mysore |
Even
now as I close my eyes for a while, I experience the presence of these trees in
my life and repeatedly relive these moments whenever I want to; smiling away I
look at this picture and remind myself that my life is journey and am blessed
to have encountered these lovely trees who just standing in silence and their
presence and green beauty bring me happiness and joy.
These moments become empowering moments for me, as I continue my journey in responding to the tasks of the day. I easily relate this to my life, especially in the place of work, there have been situations wherein I did not have to do anything – but by just “BEING” Present for the moment with the person has added value to their journey.

It’s
the gift of PRESENCE that becomes a
healing experience for the person who needed no answers for the difficulties
he/she is going through the journey of life; but just a little quiet space to
BE and experience the emotions having no inhibition.
“There is immense power in your presence;
where ever you are be fully present”
where ever you are be fully present”

Angela - so kind of you. I am so glad trees make happy. Just like how I feel. <3
ReplyDeleteLovely drive that would have been.
You are most welcome dear, am enjoying this prompt:) and yes it was lovely and memorable drive, thanks for being here:)
DeleteI recently experienced this presence while healing when I went home to see my father after his heart attack. Just being there with him and talking made him feel stronger.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear from you, the experience of being with your father is a powerful affirmation of your love and care, wishing him a speedy recovery, stay blessed !!
DeleteJust being there can mean so much! We too often overlook the benefits of lending our presence to others or allowing others to lend theirs to our life.

you are right, these days everyone wants to speak and give advice and solutions for everything under the sun:) we have no patience to just be available....but actually just being around the person speak volumes. thanks for your thoughts and appreciate your presence here :)
DeleteI absolutely agree with you, Angela. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful quote. My entire life goes around that premise so I know how much it means to me. Trees are amazing, aren't they? I shudder to think what life would be if I lived in a concrete jungle. I'm deeply grateful every single day for living so close to Nature to be able to enjoy it daily.
ReplyDeleteThanks Esha and you are most welcome :) you are truly blessed to be surrounded by nature, there is nothing more beautiful in life; but to be constantly reminded that you are never alone with nature... as nature has its own sweet ways to communicate, stay blessed !
DeleteWe need the loved ones in our life. I'm trying to put together a small family reunion right now. One of my cousins is having health issues, and I hope he can participate by Skype. I truly believe in the healing qualities of people who love you, and, also, the healing qualities of trees.
ReplyDeleteHi Alana, thanks for being here, and am so happy to hear that you are planning for a small reunion, its not only beautiful but a healing experience too, wishing you the very best and hope and pray that your cousin is healed in this process of coming together.
