My Darling Daughter Maria Dorothy

Today I am glad to wish you a very happy birthday, and also want to tell you how much you mean to me and all of us at home.  As you turn 11 years, I am grateful to God  for the last 10 years that has gone by, and every year has been so beautiful, it’s been a wonder for me to watch you take every small step, you have grown up so quickly, the sunshine of your precious smile brighten up my day, and when we are far apart, the memory of your little hand holding mine tight brings warmth to my heart. 

I am also thankful to all our family members and my friends, who have supported me, guided me, and stood by me at all times in empowering me to take care of you and your brother. I owe a lot to all those lovely people I am surrounded with, and who have been  my constant source of inspiration.

Even though you miss your brother for this birthday, he is very much part of us, smiling from above, and praying for us, we shall not be sad, for to live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die, so I shall celebrate your birthday and I want to celebrate the gift of YOU! Thanks for being my special daughter, on this great occasion I wish you lots and lots of love, happiness, joy,hugs, kisses and success in everything you do !
