Gratitude for May 2019

“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.” Zig Zigler

I am delayed in writing this post but I don’t want to give up the habit of writing the gratitude post; as gratitude keeps me focused and happy.  There are so many things I want to be grateful for other than my basic necessities being met, the fact that I am still breathing-alive, working and in good health.  There are lots more things happening in my life both big and small and I want to be eternally grateful for everything.
grateful for a variety of experiences in dining
I am grateful for being able to drive and even take people with me in the car, which gives me confidence and  happiness for having acquired this new skill set.:)

I am also glad that I was able to strike a balance between my work, home and could make it to attend the PhD classes, without missing a single one and making a choice to use the Public transport. I am happy to  push myself to get up early, complete all the task and reach the bus stop on time, changing two buses to ensure that I reach on time for the class.

Chocolate milk shake and lemon juice:)
I feel blessed to have David and Dorothy who adapt to my timing and adjust to my menu for these days. So that I can leave the house early enough to take the bus, sometimes david was dropping me to the bus stop.  (I tired doing simpler and easier stuff to save time and to be punctual to class J )

I am also grateful for the reunion of my friends from my previous organization, we have been together for more than a decade and I was glad to host them in my house… it was fun connecting with them and sharing our old jokes and funny moments of our work.

Friends add so much love and life:)
I am happy and feel like an achiever in dealing with various kinds of financial commitment –ensuring to look into my expenditure and the money flow, without creating debts and unnecessary purchases to bring about financial health.

This month I and David are happy to help our daughter Dorothy to continue her education; we have initiated the admission procedures for 3 year degree course and soon she will be joining college from the next month. I feel so grateful and good that she is moving steadily and making independent choices in life.

This month The Ywcaofsecunderabad celebrated the Mother’s day with a theme – Super Hero mums, displaying their creativity by dressing up in style and sharing their views. It was an evening filled with fun and fellowship.

Super hero MOMs :)

Glad to take some time off to Mumbai, lonavala, khandala and few hours in pune – it was a dream of my daughter Dorothy to go sightseeing in Mumbai and I am happy to go along and unwind and just roam around, seeing places, enjoying good food, connecting with friends and loved ones. It’s a great feeling of happiness, contentment and satisfaction when I don’t have to think about the kitchen or my work and just relax and chill enjoying the moments offered by life.

Gratitude for my friend who did the planning, booking and also evolved an itenary which was a flexible one giving space for both roaming around and also just being enjoying the moments, reflecting and getting in touch with yourself in quietness. I will make a separate post for the holiday trip as there is so much to be thankful for … on the whole this month was hectic and all of us were busy, active, David attended a few celebrations too in ;this month – one wedding and a silver jubilee function of his cousin

I managed to do the Tree love post both on the second Thursday and the fourth Thursday of this month. I could not post for WATWB- a post that spreads light in darkness. I did have a story to share but couldn’t complete to post, hopefully I will still try and post.
I am happy to write this post; thanks for reading my post :)

I would love to hear your thoughts...

Be Blessed & Be Happy
