Thursday Tree Love -31

“You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.”  Steve Maraboli

Since the day I joined the tree love posts – I have sharpened my awareness and learnt to reflect deeply and positively about these lovely trees. I am willingly and happily taking lessons from them as they speak softly in my heart.

I am amazed and shocked at the way this tree has survived slanting itself – I am wondering if the gardener would have seen this slant when it was small and tender and helped it to straighten, it would have grown tall and straight, unfortunately it appears like a neglected tree that has continued to grow despite of neglect…. Now it’s very difficult to straighten the tree as it has grown into a wide and large trunk and moved ahead.
In life sometimes I too feel, had I been helped to straighten a little in terms of moving towards developing the skills that are inherent in me. I would have been in a different set up altogether – nevertheless like this tree even though it has bended and slanted itself, it refused to give up and fall but rather chose to move in the similar direction rising above and still standing with dignity and strength.
All of us here no matter what are our experiences in life, are called to rise above to achieve the greatest self, living out our purpose and with courage. I am sure you will find a lot of persons on this earth who have dared to rise above neglect, exploitation, abuse and crushing life experiences that have wounded them for life.
