143- Thursday Tree Love

“The Seekers silence is the loudest form of prayer” Swami Vivekananda

These trees are from Jerusalem from the garden of Gethsemane – a place where Lord Jesus spent time in prayer, just before his trial, after which he was sentenced to death on the cross. I was privileged to visit this beautiful garden, and also had the opportunity to walk the way of the Cross that led to the place where he was crucified and hung on a wooden cross.

It was an experience by itself and watching these trees in the Gethsemane garden that witnessed a great Soul ….. the trees are very old, some of them are preserved and garden has a boundary we can’t get it, adjacent to that they have built a church.  I walked in silence…

Thursday Tree love is a photo feature on Parul’s blog hosted on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. You are most welcome to join in, all you need to do is:

  1. It's a place deserving of silence and meditation. It's wonderful that old plantings have been preserved. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Yes Parul, its an experience of a life time- I have no words to describe my experience. Reading the scriptures and trying to understand is different from actually going to the place is great opportunity. I am blessed to have visited this place. I am eager to read your post and thanks for facilitating TTL.
