Gratitude is not just a
feeling; it’s a positive energy that creates magic. Gratitude makes us
sensitive to be aware of all the blessings great and small, and overwhelms us
with more of everything in life.Gratefulness brings in a lot of energy in our
lives and fills our hearts with joy. It impacts our performance at workplace
and boosts our confidence level. It also brings out the best in us to share
generously all that we have.
Gratitude also keeps us
active and healthy. Grateful people are
easily employed, and companies would love to retain people who have the
attitude of gratitude.
Being grateful is very
important in life, as there are lots of positive aspects when we live in
gratitude; it keeps us happy 24/7. It
teaches us to value relationships and saves us from taking people for granted.
Gratitude has to be learnt
by practice, and cultivated every day, it does not just happens.
We need to be
consciously aware and take deliberate steps to be grateful every day.A few of
the things that I do is :
· I exercise with gratitude every day for
my body
· I meditate with gratitude every day by valuing my breath
· I pray with gratitude
· I make a list of thank you notes to be sent – by email, phone or even a visit if required
· I keep writing gratitude notes
· I look at the blue sky, the lovely green trees and birds and feel and sense of thanks in my heart.
· I hug my daughter every day, appreciating God for her gift to me.
· I cook healthy meals at home with gratitude
· I ride and sing with gratitude
· I listen with love and gratitude for those who trust me

Absolutely. I was given a diagnosis 40 years ago that I had two years to live. Every day I can find something more to be thankful for. Thank you for making these points and sharing your gratitude list.

I believe it is so important to cultivate a thankful heart for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which it is part of what we were created to do and thus, will produce joy in us and through us.
