I take this as my compliment. I am glad for both David for giving back to the community, a way to renew and rekindle faith in the Lord and Maria for helping her father in the choir, selecting the readings, typing the hymns and assisting him in whatever he needs for the prayer meeting. For me I see this 4th Sunday as a break to spend time listening to the word and reflecting, and also connecting with the other members of the community. I like to strike a balance to practice rituals of religion and at the same time attempt to move beyond to believe that Sabbath was made for man and not vice versa... nice to know that you loved these quotes, Buddha always remains my favourite...Dr Genevive Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17866368362204764911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4203697048922020538.post-67382633905802614552015-07-28T03:25:00.627-07:002015-07-28T03:25:00.627-07:00Thank you for this post Genevive, I read it yester...Thank you for this post Genevive, I read it yesterday and am re-reading. It is so deep and profound. Helping others renew their faith as David is doing is extremely noble. How lovely that you and Maria are involved every 4th month in his prayer meetings.

Yes, what we learned as children or young adults will always serve us well. When we become more adult we seek further and more often within to bring peace to our soul. Prayer is such a wonderful tool as is gratitude, and finding time in the busy-ness of everything to be still and quiet.

I love all the quotes, and thank you again!Susan Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12041548718544123557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4203697048922020538.post-534702394811350572015-07-27T23:29:23.159-07:002015-07-27T23:29:23.159-07:00I am happy to just be myself; and I don't have...I am happy to just be myself; and I don't have the burden of performing any sort of rituals, glad to know that you too have moved..... quiet time in the mornings, sitting in silence with a small lamp/candle can do magic for me... I have heard of Reiki but did not try.... yes but I did try Pranic healing and I was impressed with the guide who taught a group of us and also practised pranic healing with one of the participant...I found this session very interesting too...Dr Genevive Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17866368362204764911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4203697048922020538.post-75815117934783661842015-07-27T09:58:17.630-07:002015-07-27T09:58:17.630-07:00Just like you, I have moved away from religious ri...Just like you, I have moved away from religious rituals and practices.
