R for Rishikonda Beach.

Rishikonda is one of best beaches of Andhra Pradesh. It is located within the city limits.  Last year when attended a wedding at Visakhapatnam.  We took opportunity to go sight seeing in Visakhapatnam, the tourism buses take you around for a whole day, and this beach is also part of the visit.

I found this beach clean and neat, we did not get to spend much time as we were going around the city. We spent an hour after the lunch at the hotel nearby and had to come back to continue to see the other places in the city.

Me and my daughter love the waters; as both of us swim – we enjoyed playing for sometime in the waters, David has problem with his leg so he stood far watching the waves and also looking the nearby shops…. We did not click many pictures here as the time was short.

This beach is a beautiful one to hangout; I remember visiting this beach with a few friends’ years ago and had a good time.

Be Blessed & Be Happy!

Note: Thanks to Google for the lovely pics ...

  1. I love the beach and the ocean. It's been too long since I've been able to put my feet in the water.

  2. I was looking forward to your R post Genevive thank you! The beach does not look unlike our beaches in their beauty! I'm so looking forward to a brief break down at the sea this coming Sunday and just watching the waves and walking in the water! It's too cold at this time of the year to swim here in South Africa, but who knows - I might just!
    I love the quote too!

I hope and pray that you get a break to be at the sea... its refreshing to just sit by the sea side and do nothing.... .. take care, its a pleasure to connect with you .

  3. Your photographs make me hungry to visit the seaside again. It's been way too long. Vancouver, where I live, is a coastal city, but shielded from the ocean by Vancouver Island. No beautiful crashing waves for us! Great photos, and like Susan above, I love the quote too.
